i skate because i can! calum may not be able to shortboard but i can and lee :P and i can longboard but that is another story!
i dont have a longboard so calum always beats me at every race even tho i have abec 9s BASTARD!!! anyhoo... skateboarding
(aka shortboarding) is all about the tricks and not so much about the speed (tho that is a major aspect!) being a skateboarder
is all about pushing yourself to the limit even when you think you are gonna bail.
the reason i skate is because i tried it ages ago liked it so bought one and then got o.k so i thought
i would stick to it ,stevo is probably the one who got our street(a complete load of crap) to
skate now my little brother is better than him at tricks ,ha ha ,anyway you dont have to be amazing to skateboard, if you
keep trying you will get better, plus going down big hills is really funny.
I dont shortboard because i have a need, a need for speed.
